FULL USPS BANKING STACK / SECONDARY INSTALL OPTION
Prepare a supported Galaxy S26 Ultra from the supplied USB-C Smart Switch backup bundle while preserving Samsung's supported restore flow.
This path restores backup content and supported app data. It does not replace One UI, flash Samsung firmware, unlock the bootloader, bypass device security, or convert third-party files into system applications.
SUPPORTED RESTORE FLOW
Keep the archive's supplied folder structure intact. If Smart Switch does not recognize a valid backup, stop and verify the media rather than moving files into Android system folders.
Charge the Galaxy device, enroll its owner account, and create a separate backup of any existing content before beginning. Do not proceed on a phone you do not own or administer.
Use a reliable USB-C OTG flash drive formatted as exFAT or FAT. Download the 1.26 GiB ZIP on a trusted computer, scan it, then extract it to the drive without renaming or rearranging the included folders.
Unlock the Galaxy S26 Ultra, connect the USB-C drive, and select Transferring files or MTP if Android asks how to use the accessory.
Open Settings, search for Smart Switch, and launch it. Tap the external-storage or SD-card icon in the upper-right corner, then choose USB storage under Restore from.
Select only the recognized backup and data categories you intend to restore. Confirm the summary, keep the device connected and awake, and wait for Smart Switch to report completion.
Unmount the USB drive in My Files before disconnecting it. Re-enroll biometrics, review app permissions, install any signed APK that Smart Switch could not transfer, and independently verify wallet addresses and recovery material.
KNOW THE BOUNDARY
Available categories vary by device, Android version, source backup, and application security policy.
Supported apps and app data, contacts, messages, media, documents, call history, selected settings, and home-screen organization may be offered when present in a valid backup.
Biometric templates, device credentials, payment tokens, private keys, secure-enclave data, encrypted media, incompatible apps, and security-protected app data may not transfer.
